Mayer Lutheran Wins Opener


The Mayer Lutheran Boys Football Team won their opening game Thursday night at Maple Lake. The final score was 20-14. Go Crusaders! They will play again next Friday night at 7:00 p.m. versus LeSueur/Henderson.

Mayer Lutheran to Begin Football season


The Mayer Lutheran High School boys football team will begin their season at Maple Lake this coming Thursday, August 31st at 7 p.m. Their first home game will be the following Friday against LeSueur/Henderson at 7 p.m. Come on out and cheer on the Crusader football team.

Mayer Blazers Lose to Winsted Wildcats


The Mayer Blazers baseball team lost 7-2 Saturday, August 12, 2006 to the Winsted Wildcats. The Wildcats advance onto the state tournament playing against Hamburg on Sunday in a seeding game. The winner of that game will play Pierz.

The Mayer Blazers, our local baseball team, will play the Winsted Wildcats on Saturday, August 12, at 4 p.m. in Norwood for a chance to go to the state tournament. The winner of Saturday's game will play Hamburg on Sunday, August 13 at 2 p.m. in a seeding game for the state tournament. Let's all get out there and cheer on our local team. GO BLAZERS!
